The Keel Group’s attorneys and staff work together as a team to help you navigate the complex legal issues and questions you or your business may be facing.  When you hire the Keel Group for representation, you are hiring not just one attorney, but a team of seasoned professionals and staff who strive to provide creative, clear, accurate, and timely solutions.  We also want you to be comfortable and informed about our fees and costs before we begin any work on your behalf.  Our fees are normally one of four types: 1) Hourly Billing, 2) Percentage Fee, 3) Fixed Fee or 4) a combination of each billing type.  Hourly billing is used when we cannot determine in advance the extent of the necessary services that may be required.  Percentage fees are commonly used in legal matters where we serve as a fiduciary over assets valued at a fixed amount, or where we are compensated based upon a percentage of a sale or exchange of funds.  Fixed fees are used for generally routine legal services where the amount of time and cost required is well known such as entity formations, basic estate planning and other matters.

It is important that you, as the client be open to discussing fees and any other areas of concern early on in the representation.  Our fee estimates are based upon: the facts disclosed at the initial meeting; the difficulty of the issues involved, and; our estimate of the time that will be required to provide the requested services.  To help our clients better understand our expectations of ourselves and our clients we use the following Terms of Legal Services for all of our matters with clients: THE KEEL GROUP, LTD. – TERMS OF LEGAL SERVICES
